Born in Nicosia in 1964 and raised in the occupied village of Yerolakkos. His parents, Irene and Elpidoforos Yiangou, were both teachers. He studied Business Administration & Finance at Baruch College of the City University of New York. He is the Executive Director of PCM Advisers and also holds the position of Chairman of the Board of the Cyprus Land Development Organization since 2003. He has been a member of the Cyprus Green Party from its foundation and now holds the position of Assistant Secretary General. He is both an active environmentalist and an animal rights advocate. Adonis Yiangou is married to Marina Vryonidou and they have two daughters, two dogs and four cats. |

Born in Canada in 1953, she has lived in Pegeia since 1990. Worked for the United Nations and is an accredited trainer in stress management, personal development of The Monroe Institute (USA). She is a businesswoman and published author. She is an active member of the Green Party. A naturalized Cypriot, she is the first foreign-born woman elected to a Local Council in Cyprus (Pegeia Municipality). She is a founding member of Pegeia Coalition of Independents and the pressure group Cyprus Property Action Group (CPAG). Involved in community issues for many years, she also was a volunteer campaigner with the Friends of the Earth. She speaks English, French and Greek. She is married to John Knowles.

Evi Theopemptou was born in London in 1957. She is a civil engineer by profession and a member of the Scientific and Technical Chamber of Cyprus. She holds a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration (MBA) and is the General Manager of the Larnaca Sewerage Council. As a founding member of the Cyprus Green Party, she was the first woman Secretary General of the Party and the first woman member of the National Council of Cyprus (1999-2001). From 1998 she has consistently represented the Cyprus Green Party in European Green Congresses and is the coordinator of the Mediterranean Network of Green Parties. Efi Xanthou was born in Melbourne Australia in 1981. She is a Political Scientist and is presently employed by the House of Representatives as a parliamentary assistant. She is a member of the Cyprus Green Party and was elected as a Municipal Counsellor in Aglantzia in 2006, making her the youngest elected municipal counsellor in Cyprus. She was the Secretary General of the Young Ecologists for 5 years. She developed European activity as a Fundraiser for the Federation of Young European Greens (2 terms) and represents the Party at European Green Party Congresses. She is the coordinator for the party’s Committee on Missing Persons, Refugees and Enclaved. She is married to Lambros Lambrou from Assia. |

Ioanna Panayotou was born in Limassol in 1962
She is a graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessalonika in Organic Wine production and with an MA degree from the Mediterranean Institute of Management. She is the Owner and Director of the Gaia p.e. Oinotechniki Ltd which is located in the village of Ayios Amvrosios in Limassol In 1986 she inherited the Organic Vineyards from her father. The first in Cyprus to produce grapes to European legislation standards. She is a member of the Bio-Farmers Association and Cyprus Winery Association As a founding member of the Cyprus Green Party , over the last six years she held the positions of Spokesperson for the Green Party and is a member of the Editorial Board of the newspaper Ecologos She was nominated as a candidate for MP in the parliamentary elections of 1996, 2001 and 2006 and MEP candidate in the 2004 European elections. |

George Perdikes was born in Nicosia in 1962. He studied Civil Engineering at the Polytechnic School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and was chairman of the National Student Union of Cypriots (E.F.E.K.), Thessaloniki, (1984-1986). He was Secretary General of the Cyprus Green Party for 6 years and has participated in the National Council of Cyprus since 1999. Elected as a Member of Parliament for Nicosia in 2001 and 2006 and is deputy chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Institutions, Values and the Commissioner for Administration. He is a founding member of the Cyprus Green Party and Friends of Akamas and a member of many other voluntary and charitable organizations. He is married to Electra Panaretou and has two sons.
